The Salty 8’ dinghy is a laminated fiberglass hull with traditional wood work. The gunwales are Oak, mortised into an oak breast hook at the bow and meet in the stern with oak knees. The bow and stern seats are exterior glued Luann plywood as well as the motor mounts. The mid ship seat is of solid mahogany and all are fastened with stainless steel fasteners. Full floatation is placed in the compartment below the bow and stern seat. All of the boats made by Salty Boats of Maine carry a 3 year warrantee. The Salty 8'. dinghy has the capacity to carry 3 people at 335 pounds or less with a 2 horse power outboard motor for maximum a weight capacity of 400 pounds total. The Salty 10' tender is a traditional wineglass style laminated fiberglass hull. The gunwales can be ordered in traditional wood or low maintenance black PVC. The bow and stern seats are molded fiberglass and are foam filled for floatation. The mid ship seat is of solid oak and the bow and stern seat can be covered with a marine grade mahogany if requested. If your preference is a wood finish then the gun-whales and other wood parts can be made in Oak or Mahogany. All of the boats made by Salty Boats of Maine carry a 3 year warrantee. The Salty 10'. tender has the capacity to carry 3 people at 338 pounds or less with a 3 horse power outboard motor for a maximum weight capacity of 423 pounds total. The Great Bay 14' is a laminated fiberglass hull with PVC gunwales and Fiberglass breast hook and knees. The bow, stern and mid ship seats are molded to the hull with full floatation within. The exterior of the hull is a smooth gel-coat finish and the interior has a textured gel-coat finish. This boat is made in two models, GB14 Standard and the GB14 Center Console. The Standard is a 20” transom ready for a tiller arm outboard motor. The GB14 Center console comes with a console place between the bench seat all set up with a Safe-T Helm ready to receive your outboard motor. The Great Bay 14 Skiff has the capacity to carry 4 people at 550 pounds or less with a 25 horse power outboard motor for a maximum weight capacity of 700 pounds total |
